Meltdown in PG County

Posted in Black America, Uncategorized by Abdur-Rahman Muhammad on April 16, 2008

Yesterday an ATV rider was killed in Clinton (which is in Prince George’s County here in the DC area).

A man was fatally slashed and another was critically wounded in the Clinton section of Prince George’s County last night when they were apparently attacked while riding all-terrain vehicles on a wooded tract, county police said.

A police officer on his way to the scene was injured in a traffic incident, authorities said.

The attack occurred about 8 p.m. southeast of the campus of Surrattsville High School, according a preliminary account provided by police.

The stabbing victims were not immediately identified. Police said the wounded ATV rider was taken to a hospital. The other rider died at the scene.

Police gave no motive for the attack.

What kind of example are we setting for the children with this kind of outlaw environment being established? How do we expect our children to grow up with a sense of honor when the parent are out of control. In this story (again from PG County) we saw adults fighting each other and a 22 year old kills a 50 year old man that was trying to break up the insanity. Alas, we are so painfully silent on these issues, but so loud on others. Where is OUR sense of honor as Muslims?

Does this make anyone besides me angry? Does anyone else feel the frustration that I feel? Or am I just being “stupid” again?
