A Singular Voice

It Was President Obama’s Night!

We Don’t Do What’s Easy, We Do What’s Necessary

In President Barack Obama’s first address to both houses of Congress, he clearly and forcefully laid out his plan to get us out of this frightful economic crisis. In this speech we see the Barack Obama of the campaign, the confident and inspirational leader who gave us all hope. The past few weeks have not been the greatest for the new President, who seemed at times pessimistic and off message. Tonight’s speech emphasized job creation, tax cuts, affordable college education, helping people keep their homes, and holding the fat cat bankers accountable. What I really appreciated was the President’s call to development green technology and an affordable health care system.

It was a great speech, so if you missed it you can watch it here.

As much as I am not caught up in obamania the Republicans have have a real problem, and that is they have no message and even worst no minority who can convey. Yeah I know some will scoff but the only reason steele and jindal are getting primetime air time is because obama won the election. so now they are going to have return to one of the good old boys who can deliver the tried and true red meat stomp speech

Obama was on point last night! All this doom and gloom talk you see in the media definitely needed to be turned around. Unlike most peeps I think by year’s end we will be ENTERING a recovery. We will still be in bad shape but things will be better on individual level for most people. That’s my belief and I’m sticking to it.lol

Obama needs to get throw out Geitner and the thief Larry Summers ,and bring in Paul Krugman and others who would advise him and give him sound advise.Glen Fords commentary on How can US recover without manfacturing capacity is something we all should listen to.The brother and his colleagues at the BAR agenda report keep it real. Also lets not forget that Obama talking about sending 17,000 soldiers to Afghanstan this will only add more to the deficit. This move is insane considering the deep financial crisis this country faces.Yes it is good to be opttimistic but you also got to be real and lay the facts on the table.
