Fatimah bint Qais (May Allah be pleased with her) said: I came to the Prophet (PBUH) and said to him: “Muawiyah and Abul-Jahm sent me a proposal of marriage.” The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “Muawiyah is destitute and he has no property, and Abul-Jahm is very hard on women.”
[Bukhari and Muslim].
She was warned about marrying these men.Warding off an evil takes precedance over covering faults.

Allâh does not like that the evil should be uttered in public except by him who has been wronged. And Allâh is Ever All­Hearer, All­Knower. 4:148
Thus it is permissible for oppressed to backbite his oppressors when seeking rights.

Verily! Allâh commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due 4:58

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well­Acquainted with what you do. 5:08

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allâh, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allâh is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allâh is Ever Well­Acquainted with what you do 4:135

And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the Cause of Allâh, and for those weak, ill­treated and oppressed among men, women, and children, whose cry is: “Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from You one who will protect, and raise for us from You one who will help.” 4:75

Whosoever intercedes for a good cause will have the reward thereof, and whosoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a share in its burden. And Allâh is Ever All-Able to do (and also an All-Witness to) everything. 4:85

Then what is the matter with you that you are divided into two parties about the hypocrites? Allâh has cast them back (to disbelief) because of what they have earned. Do you want to guide him whom Allâh has made to go astray? And he whom Allâh has made to go astray, you will never find for him any way (of guidance) 4:88

“…so be not a pleader for the treacherous. 4:105

And argue not on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Verily, Allâh does not like anyone who is a betrayer of his trust, and indulges in crime 4:107

They may hide (their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (them) from Allâh, for He is with them (by His Knowledge), when they plot by night in words that He does not approve, And Allâh ever encompasses what they do. 4:108

Lo! You are those who have argued for them in the life of this world, but who will argue for them on the Day of Resurrection against Allâh, or who will then be their defender? 4″109

Narrated ‘Aisha,radi Allahu anha : The Quraish people became very worried about the Makhzumiya lady who had committed theft. They said, “Nobody can speak (in favor of the lady) to Allah’s Messenger, sal Allahu alayhi wa salam, and nobody dares do that except Usama who is the favorite of Allah’s Messenger. ” When Usama spoke to Allah’s Messenger, sal Allahu alayhi wa salam, about that matter, Allah’s Messenger,sal Allahu alayhi wa salam, said, “Do you intercede (with me) to violate one of the legal punishment of Allah?” Then he got up and addressed the people, saying, “O people! The nations before you went astray because if a noble person committed theft, they used to leave him, but if a weak person among them committed theft, they used to inflict the legal punishment on him. By Allah, if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad committed theft, Muhammad will cut off her hand.!” (Bukhari)

From Ibn ‘Umar, radiyallaahu ‘anhumaa, who said that Allaah’s Messenger, sal Allaahu ‘alayhi wa’sallam, said:

Whoever intercedes and prevents one of the punishments prescribed by Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, then he has opposed Allaah regarding His orders. Whoever dies with a debt due on him then it will not be repaid by deenaars and dirhams but rather by good and bad deeds. Whoever disputes for something which he knows is false then he remains in Allaah’s anger until he desists. Whoever accuses a believer of something that is untrue then Allaah will make him dwell in the pus flowing from the inhabitants of the Fire and he will not leave until he retracts from what he said” (Ahmad & others)

“The most excellent Jihaad is a truthful word spoken to an oppressive ruler.” The hadeeth was related by Ibn Maajah

Sad part about this wall of silence is that more and more people get hurt. What are people like YOU doing to protect the people from such evil? Why should everyone stay silent and just take it on the chin when they are robbed?

Back-biting, slander, supposition, assumption, loose-talk, character assasination and other evil uses of gthe tongue are grave sins and NEVER a means for accomplishing anything positive. In Al-Islam we are not encouraged to talk ABOUT n/ people and things that we don’t know. We are encouraged to talk TO and WITH one another as this encourages brotherhood and sisterhood. This is the religion that we are called to practice by our Lord and His Messenger (pbuh), and no, two wrongs don’t make a right. Be wary of the character of those who engage in loose, evil talk, even as other sins. Please read my earlier posts from months ago on this tragedy. As for the suffering young lady, I will reach out to her family i nsha’Allah, and discuss this no further, here. As for our enemies, they are real, and Shaitaan is n/ the main one. Yes! A Muslim can be run over by another Muslim and if s/he demands his/her right, then they are “airing the dirty laundry” or accused of being FBI. Brothers can borrow money and not pay it back. When the brother demands it, then HE is the criminal. Everything is turned on its head
