I have learned a lot this week about the true nature of these terrorist thugs. While I’ve always known that they were wicked and depraved, I did not understand the full extent of their capacity to manipulate. A reader sent me this excerpt of a member of Hamas admitting to using women and children as human shields. Truly mind boggling stuff
Here is the admission:
Fathi Hammad: [The enemies of Allah] do not know that the Palestinian people has developed its [methods] of death and death-seeking. For the Palestinian people, death has become an industry, at which women excel, and so do all the people living on this land. The elderly excel at this, and so do the mujahideen and the children. This is why they have formed human shields of the women, the children, the elderly, and the mujahideen, in order to challenge the Zionist bombing machine. It is as if they were saying to the Zionist enemy: “We desire death like you desire life.”
How long are we going to give tacit support to the kind of rank ideological sewage spewing out of this man’s mouth? How much more do we need to see and hear before we realize this so-called “jihadi movement” is morally bankrupt? They use human shields and proudly ADMIT it, then when the women and children are killed, they wail and blame others. They can’t have it both ways. These cowards hide behind women and children and display the pictures to the world (for political purposes) as if they were intentionally murdered.
Meanwhile, top Hamas and “Islamic Jihad” leaders here in the US (some of whom are being coddled by MAS) send their children to the best schools and universities that the Western world has to offer – even as they blast the “evil West”. They live in the finest homes in the safest suburbs. They drive the nicest late model vehicles. And to add insult insult to injury, they exploit my people with their dirty businesses. Meanwhile, their minions use others’ children as cannon fodder. Is this Islam??
What I would like to impress upon my co-religionists here in the United States is that to attribute this cowardly murderous regime to Islam is an outrage!!

The Salafi ulema to there credit have denounced many of the tatics of
these groups.Obviously these stratgies of suicide bombing and missles being launched just lead to more carnage.We have right to question these ineffective ill advised methods.Woman and children being used as human shields is sicking to the stomach.Once upon time many in Amercian muslim community just turned a blind eye to these tatics and justified it because of the apartheid type situation that the Palestines live under.I guess I am trying say there is way to resist opression without using a incorrecet methadolgy that has nobasis under guidelines of Islam.

Pearls of Wisdom
1. Don’t ask Allah for what you think is good: ask Him for what He thinks is good for you.
When one of you contemplates entering upon an enterprise, let him supplicate: O Allah, I consult You through Your Knowledge, and I seek strength through Your Power, and ask of Your Great Bounty; for You are capable whereas I am not and, You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of hidden things. O Allah, if You know that this matter is good for me in respect of my Religion, my livelihood and the consequences of my affairs, then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. But if You know this matter to be bad for my Religion, my livelihood or the consequences of my affairs, then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and grant me power to do good whatever it may be, and cause me to be contented with it. (Bukhari and Muslim)
2. The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it.
Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah’s Messenger said, “It is from the excellence of (a believer’s) Islam that he should abandon that which is of no benefit to him (in this world and the Hereafter).” (At- Tirmidhi )
3. Store up for yourselves treasures in Jinnah, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
When the dwellers of Paradise enter Paradise, an announcer will call: (you have a promise from Allah that) you will live therein and you will never die; you will stay healthy therein and you will never fall ill; you will stay young and you will never become old; you will be under a constant bliss and you will never feel miserable. (Muslim)
4. Failure isn’t falling down. It’s staying down. For a just man may fall seventy times and rise up again. Consider failure only as an opportunity to regroup and strengthen yourself.
Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah’s Messenger said, “A strong believer is better and dearer to Allah than a weak one in all good things. Adhere to that which is most beneficial for you. Keep beseeching Allah for help and do not refrain from it. If you are afflicted in any way, do not say: ‘If I had taken this or that step, it would have resulted into such and such,’ but say only: ‘Allah so determined and did as He willed.’ The word ‘if’ opens the gates of satanic conduct.” (Muslim)
5. Be a giver. Joy will be the result, not only to those to whom you give, but also in your own heart.
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Al-‘As: A man asked Allah’s Messenger, “Which act in Islam is the best?” He replied, “To feed (the poor and the needy) and to salute everyone, whether you are acquainted with them or not.” ( Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
6. What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. They are but trifles to be sure, but scattered along life’s pathway, the good they do is inconceivable.
Narrated Abu Dharr: The Prophet said, “Do not disdain any good deed, even your meeting with your brother (Muslim) with a cheerful face.” (Muslim)
7. What we “see” has more to do with inner vision than physical eyesight. Choose to see those things that bring happiness to your heart.
Narrated Abû Hurairah : Allah’s Messenger said, “Allah looks not at your figures, nor at your outward appearance but He looks at your hearts and deeds.”(Muslim)
8. Time is more valuable than money because time is irreplaceable. Ask Allah, and He will help you to invest your time wisely.
Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah’s Messenger said, “Hasten to do good deeds before you are overtaken by one of the seven afflictions.” Then (giving a warning) he said, “Are you waiting for such penury as will make you unmindful of devotion; or such prosperity as will make you corrupt, or such disease as will disable you, or such senility as will make you mentally unstable, or sudden death, or Ad-Dajjal who is the worst apprehended of the Hour, and the Hour will be most bitter.” (At-Tirmidhi )
9. Others can stop you temporarily; you are the only one who can do it permanently. Only Allah can transform inner weakness into strength. Ask Him to make you a better person today.
There is no god but Allah, He is One and has no partner, to Him belongs all praise and all authority, and He has power over all things, praise be to Allah, glory be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is the greatest, there is no power nor any authority but with Allah. (Fiqh-us-Sunna, Volume 4, p. 114)
10. Allah never asks about our ability or our inability——just our availability. If we willingly yield our lives to Allah —–then we are in the best position to win life’s race. People who make themselves available to Allah are those who are used by Allah.
Narrated Al-Bara’ bin ‘Azib: Whenever Allah’s Messenger went to bed, he would lie down on his right side and recite: “Allahumma aslamtu nafsi ilaika, wa wajjahtu wajhi ilaika, wa fawwadtu amri ilaika, wa’alija’tu zahri ilaika, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika, la malja’a wa la manja illa ilaika. Amantu bikitabikalladhi anzalta, wa nabiyyikal-ladhi arsalta (O Allah! I have submitted my soul to You, I have turned myself to You, entrusted my affairs to You and sought Your refuge for protection out of desire for You and out of fear of You ( expecting Your reward and fearing Your punishment). There is no refuge and no place of safety from You but with You. I believed in the Book You have revealed, and in the Prophet You have sent (i.e., Muhammad). ( Al-Bukhari)
Using women and children as shields is what COWARDS do. They might as well castrate themselves.
If you were over here in the Gulf you would see the reality of Hamas and know them for the power hungry thugs they are. In the international media the treatment of them is rather gentle in sympathy with Palestinians as a whole. It is merely a power grab between the PA, HAmas and a few other factions — but you have to wonder if any of the top people really want peace for the sake of the ordinary Palestinians.
Frankly, Hamas particlularly disgusts me.

I concur that Hamas is a thuggish and evil organization embedded with the Palestinian people. Abdur-Rahman’s point about the Hamas children is well taken. They would not send their kids to do those things
Well said Abdur-Rahman, but where is the outrage from other Muslims that these terrorists attribute their barbaric actions to Islam?

It’s easy for infidels to denounce the thuggery, but keep in mind that the terrorists live in the Muslim communities, and Muslims are disproportionately targeted by terrorist attacks. It’s kind of like trying to denounce crime when you live in a bad neighborhood — you find yourself more watching what you say to avoid being a victim yourself. In many parts of the Islamic world, there is a definite “either you’re with us or you’re with the infidels” mentality. It may not be widely held, but it’s held by a violent group that has power — again, kind of like having your neighborhood run by a street gang or by some other kind of organized crime.

That is hardly a sensible question to ask a man who has just condemned that very thing. Your point is obvious – and valid – that the ideology of a “global jihad to reclaim the khilafah” should be roundly opposed, but you are preaching to the choir. I don’t think Abdur-Rahman is claiming that his vision is especially adopted by Muslims everywhere, else he might not have cause to air these views, but you will glean insights from opinions such as peacefulmuslimah has expressed that Hamas etc are not so blithely accepted as the media and lobby groups would have us believe.
Yes, a cowardly act it is. But, have any of you ever thought about what would make these people so desparate. Check out a movie named, Occupation101, on google video. Their actions grotesque to say the least. I believe watching this video puts them in a context.

He was shown on amusment park rides, and flying a kite, having fun. He gestured to the kids who watched the show TO JOIN HIM on the path of Martyrdom…
THAT IS THE FACT OF HAMAS. They show this stuff again and again and again… But these fat money-horders don’t ever strap bombs to themselves. Their elite live in Syria, in mansions.
They have been granted MULTIPLE BILLIONS to build roads, schools, hospitals but they have done nothing of the sort. They have built Maddrassa, what I call “centers of HOPELESSNESS” where children are barely taught to read, they are taught hatred and prepared for a lifetime of hopelessness.
In 60 years, the Israelis have turned a desolate Malaria infested swamp in the North, and a desert in the south to an ultra-modern metropolis. THE WEALTHIEST, HEALTHIEST ARABS, THE ONLY ARABS WITH FREE SPEECH AND RIGHTS TO VOTE AND RUN FOR OFFICE ARE IN…. ISRAEL! That is the greatest travesty of our time. That the whole ARab world looks to ISrael as the great Satan while it is THE ONLY PLACE WHERE ARABS ARE FREE IN THE ENTIRE MIDDLE-EAST.
We are talking of over 1 MILLION ARAB ISRAELIS. We are talking of 20-25% of the WHOLE JEWISH POPULATION.
Israel left ALL OF GAZA, at very least that should have ENDED THE HOSTILITIES IN THAT AREA. But instead Hamas launches rockets at Israeli civilians DAILY. Israel has not entered Gaza in over a year. Gaza is JEW FREE, they even moved the GRAVES from GUsh Katif yet 7000 ROCKETS have been launched at Israel.
And yet people cling to this ‘settler issue’ as if it means ANYTHING. If Israel can absorb 1 MILLION ARABS, then why can’t the Palestinian ARab authority (whomever it may be) accept ONE HALF OF ONE HALF OF ONE HALF PERCENT JEWS (that is the number of settlers in relation to Palestinians in contested areas! Most Jews live in major cities, not in remote outposts).
60 years have passed and in 60 years from now, on what could have been 120 years of independence SECOND PALESTINIAN STATE (Jordan is the first having been granted to Palestinian Arabs in 1918 by the British on 70% of Palestine) there will just be more poverty and more misery.
It is time the Palestinian Arabs, and their Syrian, Iraqi, Saudi brethren, and Persian cousings STOP LOOKING OUTWARDS for ALL THAT AILS THEM. No the world is not perfect, NO things are not all just BUT…. BEFORE ONE CAN LOOK OUTWARDS FOR WHAT AILS THEM, THEY MUST FIRST GET THEIR OWN HOUSE IN ORDER.

What I don’t understand is why Arab states who have all treated the refugees like dirt don’t unconditionally accept Israel and get on with planning for a better future.
Peace in that region will not allow big American military contractors to solocit big military contracts. That is why American tax payers (like myself) via congress gives monies to Israel and the so called Palestinian authority. It’s kind of Machiavelian, don’t you think. Zionists and Palestinians are the subjects of this Machiavelian American military industrial complex. The issue is not looking inward at Islam, but those displaced peoples trying to live in dignity in their own land. The other Arabs didn’t usurp the land from the indigenous population, the zionists did. Yes, the state of Israel exist via land usurpation. If anyone is responsible for this desperate psychologically non balanced non Islamic means of Palestinian resistance, it’s zionism, and the world’s community ( the U.N.) inability to address the plight of the displaced Canaanites/Palestinians, not Islam. And NO Islam doesn’t in anyway condone the killing of innocent civilians. But innocence is relevant. Isn’t every Jewish citizen of Israel to serve in the Israeli Defence Forces. They shoot, kill, violate the sanctity of Muslim homes and cry innocence when they’re in their civies. The deal is, tell those people from Brooklyn, Ukraine, Russia, etc, to go back home and leave the usurped land that’s not theirs, then I guarantee peace. But then again who am I, I’m only an American tax payer.

It is women and elderly themselves who are willing to become human shields for Hamas members who are their sons, husbands, and brothers. I think the blogger has missed the point altogether after watching a short clip made by MEMRI (linked to Israel as everyone knows) without getting his information directly from Palestinian people.
Is Hamas perfect? Of course not. Are they power hungry? Every political entity is. You think Obama is not power hungry, think again. It’s just a matter of what words you use to describe the thirst for power. Hamas wants power and Palestinian people elected Hamas to represent them whether we like it or not. The American government is 100 times thuggish than Hamas (otherwise what are Americans doing in Iraq and what’s with all this bullying against Iran?) but it is elected by the American people and everybody in the world has to accept and respect that.
Having said all of this, you have not mentioned the repeated condemnations of international agencies of Israeli use of human shield. One regular practice of IDF is to force the neighbors of their targets to go and knock on the door and then use him as a human shield as they search room to room.
