Debate Number Three, Obama Soundly Defeats McCain

Posted: October 16, 2008 in Uncategorized

A CNN/Opinion Research poll of people who watched the debate found 58 percent said Obama did the best job while 31 percent said McCain did.

Even though I’m a complete partisan in all of this, apparently most Americans saw it the way I did, Barack Obama cleaned John McCain’s clock in tonight’s third and final debate. McCain came off as a desperate, angry man who knows that he has lost any chance of being President of the United States. As usual Barack maintained his cool, professorial demeanor, while McCain was irascible, condescending, and just flat-out creepy looking. Does anybody want this man or his moose-hunting VP anywhere near the “button”? And also it looks like “Joe the plumber” has supplanted “Joe six pack”. Ridiculous.

Truth be told, I am a little sorry to see this campaign season draw to a close because Its been one hell of a ride. I am predicting Obama will win in a landslide. Now all we have to do is get everyone out on Nov. 4th.

In the debate, McCain came across as a drunken redneck looking for a bar fight; desperate to rescue his failed campaign by repeating his worse mistakes and decisions. Amazing how no one brought up his part in destroying the savings and loan industry in the 1980s by his bribe taking and interference with federal regulation. Putting him in charge of the economy would be like putting a nazi war criminal in charge of a civil rights organization. I saw him in person 20 years ago; looked like death warmed over; Palin, an actual dumb redneck, would become president within a year if McCain were elected.
