I apologize from the very beginning for having to display so sad and depressing an image, but I felt the need to show it in order to bring clarity to this grave matter. The powerful gunshot blasts which tore through the chest of Malcolm X (El Hajj Malik El Shabazz) were fired by the man we identified over two weeks ago,William Bradley(today known as Almustafa Shabazz) of Newark, N.J.Understandably, the entire Black world is still reeling from the shock of this explosive new revelation, the first real breakthrough in the Malcolm X case in over twenty years. And while there may still be a few who express apprehension at our conclusions, we would simply point to the damning, deafening silence of both Bradley and his “community activist” wife, Carolyn Kelley-Shabazz. Indeed Mrs Kelley-Shabazz is a well-connected, politically astute, and quite well-known personality in Newark, one well equipped to vigorously defend her husband against so devastating an accusation. In her career she has exhibited an adroitness for garnering media attention, but it seems that all of her talents for grandstanding have now mysteriously failed her. Their only hope is to remain silent and wait for the storm to pass over. But will it pass over?
Let the historical record forever reflect that the man pictured above,William Bradley 72 (approx.)(known today as Mustafa Shabazz) is the sawed-off shotgun assassin of Malcolm X (El Hajj Malik El Shabazz). He is the man who fired the first and deadliest shot which ripped through the chest of the powerful Black leader on that cold 21st day of February, 1965. Time has caught up with him, and he can no longer lurk in the shadows waiting for his eventual end without having his dastardly deed made known. Mr. Bradley must now face the historical music in the land of the living. Then how ironic is it that “Willie” Bradley appears in a recent public safety campaign commercial for Mayor Cory Booker. In light of the recent outrage over the parole of Talmadge Hayer(aka Thomas Hagen), the only one of the five real assassins to be tried and convicted for the murder of Malcolm X, and the fact that other media outlets had gotten hold of our research and were planning to break this story, it was decided by myself and a committee of eminent scholars to publish it now. The five assassins came out of the Nation of Islam Mosque number 25 in Newark (now Masjid Ali Muslim) located at 257 S. Orange Ave, and are Benjamin Thomas, Leon Davis, Wilbur Mckinley, Talmadge Hayer, and William Bradley. It was Bradley who was especially chosen by Thomas, the ring’s leader, to handle the sawed-off owing to his infamous reputation on the streets of Newark, N.J. as a “stick up man” and bank robber, the city where he still lives today “hidden in plain sight”. He can be found on almost any given day, a large grandfatherly type figure, at the First Class Championship Development Center, a gym located at 936 Bergen Street which is owned and operated by his wife, long time activist Carolyne Kelley-Shabazz. She has her own interesting story. A one time supporter and intimate acquaintance of Rubin “Hurricane” Carter, she emerged later to become one of the most well-connected cronies of former Mayor and convicted felon, Sharpe James. In addition to the gym she owns quite a bit of real estate, providing for herself and her husband – the killer of Malcolm X – a very comfortable standard of living. Are you outraged yet?
Because no film footage of the assassination is known to exist (an audio does exist), the best we can do is rely on Spike Lee’s extraordinary cinematic depiction of it, if only to gain a sense of William Bradley’s brutality and viciousness. Sources close to this story say that Lee took great pains to ensure the actors playing the assassins actually resemble them. The close up shot of the Bradley character appears 15 seconds in, and then the rest of the tragic scene plays out.

William Bradley Calmly Walked Away
For the first time in history we are revealing perhaps the most closely held secret in the Black Muslim community of Newark, one which William Bradley certainly thought he would take to his grave. That secret being that Bradley literally walked away from the murder in plain sight of policemen, which was captured on film by an unknown cameraman and has appeared in scores of documentaries! In the following clip, which almost all of us have seen at least once, Bradley is seen acting like he wants to join the attack on Talmadge Hayer, who is being dragged away by the police. He enters the scene at 33 seconds wearing a long black coat with what looks to be a newspaper sticking out of his pocket. He disappears for a few seconds and then calmly walks across the frame at 43 seconds closing his coat. And he has walked away now for the last 45 years.
Although his name has been in the public domain now for well over three decades, ever since 1977 when Hayer filed his affidavit with famed lawyer William Kuntsler naming his accomplishes, nevertheless a face has never been attached to the name. Historian and member of the committee researching this story, Zak Kondo, published a marvelous book two decades ago on the assassination of Malcolm X, wherein he explored quite a bit of biographical material on the five assassins. Spike Lee even named the five killers in the credits of his movie. But in all of these years none of them, including “Willie” Bradley, has ever filed a libel suit. And for good reason – they would lose. That would not only expose them to being charged with the murder, but even more frightening, having their images – their faces – plastered before the world. And while this article only identifies Bradley, more will be coming out on the others in time. The only one known to be deceased is Benjamin Thomas, who took a .44 – caliber to the face at point-blank range in a domestic dispute in Florida in 1986.
Keeping his face out of the public for all these many years, along with changing his name, has allowed him to blend in with normal people and even accept a civic award or two. Our sources told us that just last month Willie Bradley received some type of citation from Mayor Cory Booker’s office. We also learned that this past winter, Bradley received an “Old Timers” award from the Newark Athletic Hall of Fame for his high school baseball talents. And now he feels comfortable enough in his old age and anonymity to appear in a campaign aid for Booker. Incredible!
But our research has convinced us that someone is protecting Bradley. Although he is a very dangerous multiple felon, no mug shot at all exists in his criminal record (which we have). Also, when you plug his name into the New Jersey State Convicted Felon Registry, nothing comes back for William Bradley or a Mustafa Shabazz of his age. We also learned that in 1968, just three years after he cut down brother Malcolm, he committed a bank heist is Jersey with two other men, yet they went to prison AND BRADLEY DID NOT! Whats more, there is no explanation for why he was allowed to go free either. Was this his “get out of jail free card” for assassinating Malcolm X? We need answers to these questions. When we questioned our sources about these strange things their answer was very blunt, “Bradley has been working for the ‘Feds'”. What connection if any did Bradley have with J. Edgar Hoover’s infamous Counter Intelligence Program (COINTELPRO)? Our government needs to open up the books and come clean on this assassination.

Obviously we cannot go into any detail about how we obtained this very sensitive information, that would almost certainly put people’s lives in danger. We have been researching this for many years now and are absolutely positive that Bradley is who we say he is. As far as the government is concerned this is a closed case, but closed cases can be re-opened with sufficient public outrage. Perhaps now that we have an African-American President and Attorney General, the people can start demanding some answers for why these men have been permitted to remain on the streets. Dr Cheek was only 37 years-old when he took on the challenge of becoming president of the nation’s preeminent historically Black University, increasing Howard’s operating budget from $43 million to $417 million during his twenty-year tenure! Dr. Cheek established the School of Communications which produces a high percentage of prominent African-Americans in the media. He also built a world-class School of Business that turns out many of our brightest leaders. Under his leadership Howard also gained a television and radio station (WHUR) which originated the “Quiet Storm” musical format. His most lasting legacy will forever remain the building of Howard University Hospital, which to this day provides first-rate, quality health care to the city’s economically disadvantaged, while at the same time training a disproportionate share of the country’s Black doctors. I received a call late last night that Brother Khalil Islam, formally known as Thomas 15X Johnson, the man wrongly convicted in 1966 of murdering brother Malcolm X, passed away on Tues. Aug. 4th. He was 74. His funeral was scheduled to be held today, Aug 6th at the 96 th Street Masjid in New York.
I got to know Khalil many years after his release from prison, and he impressed me as a man committed to his religion and loyal to his leader, Imam W.D. Mohammed. Deeply spiritual, he accepted his fate as the will of Allah, and would often tell me about his days in the Nation of Islam when he sometimes acted as Malcolm’s driver. I last spoke to him in May of this year, when we were attempting to get him booked on a local NY television show (which never materialized for reason’s that are still unclear to me). From the time he left prison in 1986 he worked to get his conviction officially overturned and his name cleared. I would listen to him sympathetically but never had the heart to tell him that that was never going to happen. As far as the New York criminal justice system is concerned, the Malcolm X murder case was closed a long time ago.
One of the most disturbing characteristics of the Muslim community is its ability to cling to baseless rumors long after they have been proven to be false. This is especially the case whenever a famous person is suspected of being a Muslim and that rumor gains circulation in the community. Once it enters the realm of urban legend IT BECOMES A FACT despite whatever the truth happens to be.
And so it is with Michael Jackson and the rumors that he was not only a Muslim, but is in fact to receive a janaza or Islamic funeral rite to be conducted by one of our famous imams. Let me be the one to break this news gently,
THERE IS NO EVIDENCE MICHAEL JACKSON WAS A MUSLIM AND THERE WILL BE NO OFFICIAL JANAZAH. AND NO, HE DIDN’T CHANGE HIS NAME TO “MIKAEL ABDULLAH” EITHER.
Can you believe that literally hundreds of Muslims are planning to attend MJ’s janaza andsome have already bought plane tickets to Los Angeles, all based on an unproven rumor. This rumor mill has gotten so out of control that there’s now a conspiracy theory that Michael Jackson was murdered because he and Muslim musician Dawud Warnsby were preparing to go out on a “nasheed tour”!!!
BrotherAli Eterazdid a fine piece of journalism on this story and it seems that the real culprits in spreading these rumors were Imams Johari Abdul Malik and Zaid Shakir, who both tried to ride the Michael Jackson death frenzy into history by jockying to be the one selected to lead his janaza prayer, and in the process manage to praise everything about MJ’s life that they used to teach was haram (prohibited) in Islam, namely music and the performing arts. Salafi Burnout offered a devastating commentary on this shameless spotlight-mugging of the leadership, because everybody knows that common, everyday Muslims like you and I, those who’ve sacrificed for Islam striving to obey God’s commandments and eshew His prohibitions and gave up careers in entertainment, while Michael Jackson was grabbing his crouch, singing and dancing (which used to be haram remember?) and sleeping with little boys, will never get this kind of attention by the imams at our passing.
I’m sorry folks, this man Joe Jackson is a loathsome piece of human debris! This narcissistic leech can’t even wait until his son’s body is in the ground before he starts promoting his new record company with a washed up member of the Chi-lites at Saturday’s B.E.T Awards show. Today, he and the ambulance chasing Al Sharpton (back from media death) repeated the appalling spectacle during a press conference, with father Joe smiling and hogging the spotlight as long as he could with no signs of grief or sadness. This guy makes me physically sick. Just check out in the beginning of the clip how he impersonally talks about the “world losing a superstar”, and not he, a father, losing a son.
I’m still absorbing this. Please share your reflections. This man was deeply, deeply troubled, and many people who knew him said they saw it coming for years. I’m not going to remember the grotesque shell of a person he became, but rather as the young, talented boy who entertained us so. Micheal Jackson is dead at the age of 50. Farewell Michael.
Over the past year many Muslim converts have had the “opportunity” to discover something called a “misyar marriage“, or temporary sexual relationship sanctioned by shariah law. From where I stand as a convert, the entire affair appears to be nothing more than prostitution by another name. I just find it interesting how in the over twenty five books on Islamic marriage that I read in English, not once was this little business about temporary marriage mentioned. The fact is that it was hidden from western students and converts to Islam because we would recognize it for what it is and be repulsed. Long time readers of this blog will remember that one of my earliest entriesconcerned the presence of Larry 4X Prescott (Akbar Muhammad) at MANA‘s first convention in November of 2007. He was included in the program to deliver a passionate speech defending convicted cop killer Jamil Alamin. At the time, my outrage was directed at according heretics respectability at ostensibly “Sunni” events. In later comments I called him an “aqeedah criminal”. Thanks to these decisions of allowing heretics to share the stage with Muslim Imams, the N.O.I has now achieved mainstream acceptance among younger Muslims who no longer see them as outside the fold of Islam. MANA’s choosing to allow Minister Larry 4X a spot at the MANA convention was almost exclusively Siraj Wahhaj’s, and it is with him that I lay the blame. Mainstreaming the N.O.I will undoubtedly be one of the sad chapters in his legacy.
However as it turns out, our friend Larry is not only an “aqeedah criminal”, but is also now a convicted felon who plead guilty last week to bank fraud to the tune of $323,000! The guy was using his “Muslim names” to get mortgages without disclosing he had others. What makes Larry’s crime all the more appalling is the fact that he held a number of “fund raisers” (are you all starting to get the picture) in different cities in support of his legal defense fund knowing full well that he was guilty!
The next entry into our rogue gallery is the one mockingly called “Goldie” by the late Abu Uwais Ahmed Abdullah Ali (May Allah have mercy upon him) Abu Usamah Khalifah Ath-Thahabi. Abu Usamah is a fast talking, intelligent and very talented individual (especially for manipulating women) that never lived up to his potential because of his love for the opposite sex and the ensuing scandals that caused a lot of brothers to distrust and in some cases to even hate him. His impulsive nature also caused him to bounce around a lot (New Jersey, England, Florida, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Peoria, England again). However along the way, he would marry a lot, and there are at least two women that have written in and confirmed to have had fully sexual relationships with him that were not his wife. He used his fame within salafi circles and position as Imam to swoon women.
His time here in Philly should have been a great match as an Imam was needed over at Germantown Masjid at the time and Abu Usamah seemed to be the perfect man for the job when he came in 1999. The Salafi Dawah was flourishing, Germantown Masjid had recently been taken over by the Salafis and all that was needed was a public face. Abu Usamah was the man for the job. However, it turned out to be a disaster when a brother in the community found out that Abu Usamah was exchanging sexually explicit emails with his wife and calling her when he wasn’t home. That was the tip of the iceberg as more stories came. He was also accused of regularly receiving and giving oral sex in the Islamic library (the Imam’s office) from some of the women in the community. One witness in Philly who wrote me said that he regularly performed oral sex on her as well as also exchanged explicit emails and had phone sex. This has been corroborated by others here in Philly. The old administration at the Germantown Masjid knows all of this information, but largely kept it quiet. They silently fired him “under a cloud of accusations and suspicion” but failed to warn other communities of the evil way that this man used his position of power over vulnerable women. In just two years he was forced to leave or be completely humiliated. Abu Usamah can not openly show his face in Philly to this day. And further, if he were to come to the US, he would have to take a que from Khalid Yasin and do it quietly, then run back to the UK for cover before anyone can find him and make a big deal about it.
Abu Usamah is a true narcissist as he once openly bragged to a group of brothers that he managed to hook up a marriage while he was leading a group of Hajjis. For those that are unaware, it is not permissible to get married during Hajj. No problem. He didn’t actually get married during the Hajj. He simply saw one of the women and noticed that she was “eyeing” him, so he inquired if she was single and “handled his business” after the Hajj. This incident demonstrates just what kind of man we are dealing with here. In constant pursuit of women and extreme selfishness. Many brothers who hung out with him noticed that being “Imam” or “daee” seemed to simply be a 9-5 job to him (which he was very good at). Many of us noticed that he just didn’t seem to live by his knowledge. He only lived by it inside the masjid and giving the classes. One brother even calls him “the entertainer” because that is how he seems to see himself. He comes and gives the class or khutbah, gets a rise out of the crowd, leaves and gets a pay check. In spite of railing against going to the movies and listening to music in his lectures, khutbahs and classes, he was known to personally engage in both. He was also known for breaking promises and to quote a variety of classical Islamic figures and use scholarly facts to back up his actions (or use them to obfuscate and hide his evil).
Another trait is that he is very calloused. He once remarked that he needed to “downsize” his family so he got rid of a couple of wives. One of his wives was crying every day and it was bothering him, so he sent her back to New Jersey so that he did not have to look at her cry anymore. So much for the ruling of the woman remaining in the man’s home! He had no regard for his wife at all. He needed to “downsize” and that was that.
As “imam”, he was also responsible for advising troubled women and would use this position to get close to them going as far as they were willing to go. Sometimes he would string women along with the promise of marriage only to get what he was after and flee. One witness reported in an email:
Well, I know now that he works on different levels according to the women. Also, that its not just about sex with him, some people he thrives on the conversation, the way they make him feel,etc..sex also but it is included amongst other things. This is how I was so thrown off.
He came to see me, he fed me a fantasy, to say the least. Years later, I still remember his visit like yesterday. He even met my parents, talked to my friends. By the end of the trip, I started sensing something, funny. He started to say stuff like, If I do decide to marry you, when at first, it was wallahi! (and the only thing preventing it was he needed to get a fatawa on my situation) he kept saying I gotta talk to some Sheikh. I know now, that, that would not have been that hard. Among the confusion of was he intending to marrry me or not, that is one thing that verified it for me. He used that as the only reason for not being able to marry me when we first started talking, so he knew that he had no intention on doing so, because he can talk to scholars easily, but he knew I didnt know about that. He was acting funny, some way he just left, he called, and told my mom that he made it, and after that, I heard nothing from him. Excuse my french, but he came, he f***** me and left. I also remember how he took me to get the morning after pill, and he made sure I took both doses. That also let me know where he was going.
She also said:
He had sex with me in his office, but that was just the beginning of that nonsense. I also have to say that, I know I had my role in this situation. I just dread that anyone would go through this, like I did. I was on the brink of a nervous breakdown. I can tell you that I am not the type of women to be beat for a man like that.
Unfortunately, he seems to be keeping this up as a source in the UK reports that as recently as a few months ago, Abu Usamah had sex with a Moroccan woman while visiting Dubai much like other “joyriders” who are known to see prostitutes there as well as in Egypt. With him being in the UK now, the good news is that no one else here in the US will be hurt, however, what of those in the UK?
I ask again. Is this the kind of leadership you want???
